In accordance with the cooperation agreement signed on June 27, 2023 between “TIIAME” National Research University and the Austrian company "Felder Group", it was planned to open the first "Innovative Training Center for Woodworking" in Uzbekistan. The opening of the center took place at university. The event was opened by Rector Prof. Bakhodir Suyunovich Mirzaev, the event was attended by the teaching staff and honored guests from different organizations.

   The main goal of opening the “Innovative Woodworking Training Center” is to create a modern educational center, specialized in training highly qualified specialists in the field of woodworking and furniture industry. In order to create an advanced training center in the field of woodworking and furniture industry, one of the university’s workshops was modernized and equipped with modern automated equipment of nine types, the estimation of the installed equipment is 304,240 euros, including machines with computer numerical control (CNC) and classical equipment, there was also created the integrated platform, convenient for conducting lectures, seminars and practical classes.

  The training center offers various programs, including training courses for students, professional training for employees of private companies and other educational activities that contribute to the development of the woodworking and furniture industry of Uzbekistan. The center will provide students with the opportunity to receive modern education and professional training in the field of woodworking and furniture industry, as well as theoretical knowledge, practical skills, experience working on modern equipment and machines. Trainings are conducted by experienced teachers and specialists using advanced equipment and machines.
