In cooperation with “TIIAME” National Research University and the Xinjiang Tianye enterprise of the People's Republic of China, there was held the opening ceremony of “Training and Research Center” for Modern Water-Saving Technologies took place. Laboratory equipment for different water-saving technologies was brought to the center, created on the basis of “Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics” Department, and a number of technologies for using and studying the sequence of designing a drip irrigation system were brought into operation. The ongoing work is carried out not only in the classroom, but also in the Educational and Practical Experimental Zone of university, where it is planned to launch field training and experimental sites with an area of 5 hectares under the auspices of the Chinese Tianye enterprise.
