On June 21, 2023, Lachin Italmazova, commercial director for the UK and Europe of the Times Higher Education (THE) International Ranking Agency made a visit to our university. The rector of our university Professor B.S. Mirzaev, the head of “Monitoring the International Ranking Agency activities” Department of the university I. Abdurakhmanov and the leading specialist of the department A. Khamraliev took part in the meeting with the expert.

 During the meeting, THE representative presented an updated methodology for the ranking and provided preliminary information on the criteria for our university in order to enter the regional and global rankings in the future. In addition, the necessary recommendations were given to promote the position our university in the international arena. At the end of the meeting, the university rector expressed gratitude to the  guest and presented her a memorable gift.

Let us remind that “TIIAME” NRU received high marks in Impact Ranking published by the Times Higher Education (THE) International Ranking Agency for 2023 for the following 5 SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals):

SDG Goal 2: Hunger Prevention (101st place)

SDG Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation (201 place);

SDG Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy (301 place);

SDG Goal 13: Climate Action  (201st place);

SDG Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goal (601 place).
