As you know, on January 19, NRU "TIIAME" students started the Science Olympiad dedicated to the memory of our teachers. Today, the Science Olympiad has been completed at our university. The Science Olympiad "Construction and Land Reclamation Machines" by the Department of Mechanization of Irrigation and Drainage, dedicated to the memory of prof. G.A Koshevnikov ended in a very lively way. The Science Olympiad created a healthy competition among these students, revealing strong, talented students among them. Koshevnikov Georgiy Antonovich was born on April 13, 1904. The Member of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. In 1950, he became the first head of the department of "Construction Machinery" (now "Mechanization of hydromeliorative works"). He died on July 16, 1975 in the city of Tashkent. 18 students took part in the Olympiad in this subject, of which 6 students were allowed to the final stage. In the final, the following 3 students won.

1st place in the field of mechanization of hydro-ameliorative works, first-year master's student Abdukarimov Bekmirza

2nd place Abdullayev Mirabzal, fourth-year student of Water Management and Land Reclamation Mechanization

3rd place Sharipov Mardonbek, fourth-year student of Mechanization of Water Resources and Land Reclamation
