Besides that the guest also shared his experiences about Minerva Project, which is the professional arm of Minerva University, specialized in curriculum design and teaching excellence through effective online educational programmes that are uniquely tailored towards better student engagement and outcomes. Minerva Project was formed 10 years ago with the sole purpose of designing a new university from scratch based upon the book by Dr. Stephen Kosslyn and Ben Nelson ‘Building the Intentional University: Minerva and the Future of Higher Education’. The foundation of which would be built upon expertise in applying the science of learning within curricula, developing full degree programmes, and delivering engaging, high quality programmes with outstanding results, having seen the outcomes from our own students at Minerva University over three graduating classes to date, and through the results from establishing selective partnerships globally.

Within Minerva Project there was created a comprehensive model that integrates leading educational science with advanced technology to prepare the next generations of lifelong learners, global leaders, and pragmatic innovators to make an impact in the modern workplace and society at large. The guest also informed that they work with partners who want to innovate and change the higher education landscape by updating their own curriculums.

The approach includes three educational pillars-interdisciplinary curricula, fully active learning, and outcomes-based assessment. It would be a pleasure to discuss how Minerva managed to revolutionize its university and also for its partners, and how their team can help apply similar methods at “TIIAME” National Research University. The discussion was full of questions and answers, which was beneficial to both sides.
