It is known to everyone that on May 19, 2023, II forum of rectors of Uzbek-Hungarian Higher Educational Institutions was held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The international forum was attended by a delegation of rectors, vice-rectors and responsible heads of higher educational institutions, headed by the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Komiljon Karimov.

The international conference was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary, which was opened with the welcoming speech of State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Balázs Hankó.  By warmly welcoming guests, professor suggested that the organized forum is important in terms of further development of bilateral cooperation. 

     Besides that, the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Komiljon Karimov, speaking on behalf of Uzbekistan, noted that following the results of the first forum of rectors held in Uzbekistan, cooperation between universities has expanded significantly. During the conference, the main attention was paid to cooperation between Hungary and Uzbekistan in the field of higher education, its achievements and prospects. The rector of "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization" National Research University Professor Mirzaev Bakhodir Suyunovich made a presentation at the forum along with the representatives of 13 higher education institutions such as Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tashkent State Technical University, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service. It should be noted that the results of the First Forum of Rectors of the two countries were signed on the basis of agreements and Memorandums of Understanding, including academic exchange of teachers and students with the aim of getting deep insights at Hungarian Higher Educational Institutions.
