The duty we owe to history is to perpetuate the name of our national icon Jaloliddin Manguberdy, who considered his homeland as his soul, protecting it as his duty, and became a symbol of fortitude and courage. The participation of the head of our state at the opening ceremony of the Jaloliddin Manguberdy memorial complex in Urganch is a symbol of dedication and patriotism.

"Jaloliddin Manguberdy has few equals in the world when it comes to loving and being loyal to the motherland," says Shavkat Mirziyoev. Indeed, the fact that a hero who left an unforgettable mark in history during his short life, going against the Mongol army is a sign of his fortitude and love for his people. Fearlessly entering the field at the age of 21, and participating in more than three hundred battles against the Mongol invaders for eleven years, Jaloliddin was able to be recognized and envied even by Genghis Khan.

It is true that the concept of independence is fully reflected in his life, struggle, and outlook. In order to perpetuate the memory of our great ancestor, there was established one of the highest awards of our state - the Order of Jaloliddin Manguberdy, scientific and artistic works dedicated to his work were created, a multi-part historical film was shot together with Turkish filmmakers. The establishment of a military academic lyceum named after Jaloliddin Manguberdy in Urganch for the purpose of educating young people is one of the good actions that give color and tone to our fortune and independence.

The conceptual architect of the memorial complex built in the center of Khorezm is actually President Shavkat Mirziyoev. He proposed this idea in 2018. Based on his orders and instructions, a 25-meter-tall majestic statue was erected. It reflects the patriotism and willpower of our nation, which confidently strives for the future in the determined and proud figure of Sultan Jaloliddin.

In addition, it is important to study the life and courage of the patriot Jaloliddin Manguberdi, who embodies the qualities that can be a symbol of our destiny and future, on a scientific basis. According to the President, we are confident that Sultan Jaloliddin, with his short life as lightning, will always be a perfect symbol of serving his country with endless love and faith.
