On December 16-20, 2022, a student of our university Ravshanbekov Dostonbek Rustam ogli took part in the "Turon" ASIAN championship in individual wrestling, which was held in the Bukhara region. He succeeded to win 1st place in the 65 kg weight category and raised the flag of our country high under the sounds of our national anthem as the ASIAN CHAMPION. In this regard, by the order of the Rector of "TIIAME" NRU dated 28.12.2022 No. 1581/t, the student of Group 206 of the Faculty of "Hydrotechnical construction" Ravshanbekov Dostonbek Rustam Ogli was encouraged in the twofold amount of of the basic scholarship. Dostonbek and our brave and courageous boys like him are introducing the fame of our country to the world, their names are written in golden letters in the history of sports! Note: "TURON" INDIVIDUAL KURASH is a national sport. Turkic people have long been famous for the art of fighting. This type of one-on-one combat was perfected during the reign of Amir Temur. The modern rules of "Turon" individual wrestling were developed by B. Saidov, an international master of sports (1991). Wrestlers compete with a tied belt and wearing loose pants.
