On August 30, 2022, Franco Turri, an expert in international cooperation, a specialist with 30 years of advanced experience in the development of Italian agriculture, agricultural enterprises, food security, assessment, and monitoring visited the "TIIAME" National Research University. 

    The official meeting took place at the Department of Irrigation and Melioration of our University. The head of the Department of Irrigation and Melioration, Professor Begmatov Ilkhom Abduraimovich opened the meeting and introduced our partners. Guzal Eshchanova, acting Associate Professor of the "English" Department, delivered a presentation about our university, spoke about scientific and international projects carried out at the university. The head of the department of international relations Sherzod Rakhmonov and Zufar Umurzakov gave detailed answers to all the questions of the guests.

    The mutual educational and scientific research cooperation issues and Memorandum were discussed during the meeting. The head of the department offered the international partner Franco Turri to conduct remote lectures for the master's students of our university, and the Italian professor gladly agreed. Long-term plans for establishing close cooperation with a number of higher educational institutions in Italy were also discussed. We organized visits to the laboratories of the hydromelioration faculty for our partners. The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
