The final result is a step forward
Today, at the Rector's Council, the chairman of the advisory council on women's affairs of the university, Professor Ismailova Zukhra Karabaevna delivered a report. The Women's Advisory Council of the University carries out its activities in accordance with the "Regulations" of the Council of Women, approved by Order No. 518 of December 13, 2021, resolutions and decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders and resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers, relevant ministries, regulatory documents issued by higher organizations, done work is regularly reviewed at meetings.
The Women's Advisory Council, which operates at our university, each academic year develops its own plan based on the tasks, instructions, and orders received from all of the above organizations, and works with the approval of the leadership. In this regard, in the annual work plan, special attention is paid to the problem of women teachers, staff, masters, doctoral students, and students.
Today, 425 women work at our university, and 172 of them are teachers. 143 women work in the main staff and 16 are external part-timers. Out of 60 professors - 13 women, out of 186 associate professors - 44. This academic year, 1 doctoral (DSC) and 6 candidates (PhD) dissertations were defended, and 1 person received the title of professor and 4 - the title of associate professor. 35 women are studying in basic doctoral studies, 1 in doctoral studies, and 2 trainee researchers.
Currently, 1882 girls are studying at our university, and 1051 of them are studying for a bachelor's degree. 496 people live in student dormitories, 40 in rented apartments, 52 work, 8 are listed in the women's notebook, 1 in the iron notebook, 2 in the youth notebook, 18 are disabled, 39 lost breadwinners, 127 are married, 924 - unmarried, 156 - gifted students. 7 talented students are studying in the magistracy. Clubs “Yosh Olima ayol”, “Kizlarjon”, “Zulfiyakhanum”, “Sport”, “Chorus and KVZ”, and “Preparation for family life” have been created at our university.
