At the initiative of the Associate Professor of the Department of Irrigation and Melioration Abduraimova Dilbar Oybekovna and assistants of the department Akhmedzhanova Gulnora Teshaboevna and Tadzhiev Sunnat Saidalievich, in student dormitory No.4 was held a spiritual and educational event on the topic “Fight against corruption is a calling of the time”.

Since the first days of independence, our country has paid special attention to the fight against corruption. To date, a solid legal framework and a clear system for combating and preventing corruption have been formed in the country. It is known that corruption seriously undermines the political and economic development of any state and society, weakens the constitutional foundations of the state and the rule of law, and, ultimately, leads to the violation of human rights and freedoms. The event provided detailed information on the tasks and work carried out in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 27, 2019, No. UP-5729 “On measures to further improve the anti-corruption system in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

The event was held in the format of a live dialogue.
