On March 3, Turakul Rizokulov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovative Development of the Tajik State University of Law, Economics and Politics, and Komiljon Sharipov, Chief Specialist of the International Relations Department, visited the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers. The purpose of the visit is to develop relations in the field of teaching, research, and innovation, as well as academic cooperation and new areas of cooperation in the educational process. During the conversation, they exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in the field, bilateral diplomas in GIS and information technology, economics and agribusiness, opportunities for teacher training, and exchange of research results. During the meeting, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Professor Abdulhakim Salohiddinov, Head of the EcoGIS Center, Professor Alim Pulatov, Dean of the Faculty of "Organization and Management of Water Resources" Rashid Khakimov, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the  "TIIAME" National Research University Sherzod Rakhmonov and CASCADE consortium coordinator Pirmatov Habibullo shared their views on the prospects for fruitful cooperation.

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the educational directions, specialties, and faculties of TIIAME National Research University. The guests also got acquainted with the activities of the digital technology cluster in the sustainable management of natural resources and talked with the staff and students of the center. The head of the EcoGIS Center, Professor Alim Pulatov, made a presentation on the researches conducted in the cluster and currently underway.
