Undeniably, the earth is a national treasure and we are obliged preserve it. The International Earth Day was proclaimed by the initiative of Bolivia at the 63rd session of the UN General Assembly on April 22, 2009. Every year, Higher Educational Institutions in our  the country hold events and competitions dedicated to this date. Due to this date, a scientific and practical seminar was organized at “TIIAME” National Research University on the topic "Innovative approaches to land resources management in Uzbekistan: Prospects and Tasks”, dedicated to the World Earth Day.

 The event was attended by Chairman of the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on the development of the Aral Sea region and ecology Bory Alikhanov, Deputy Director of the Cadastral Agency under the State Tax Committee, Director of the Center for Geo-Innovations Abdushukur Abdullaev, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddin Sultanov. This event is held annually at our university.

  On April 16-22,2022 under the motto "Our land is our future", a competition was held among students, in which students from our university, two branches in Bukhara and Karshi took part. Students took an active part in photo exhibitions titled “Our land is our future”, the intellectual game “Earth is a national treasure”, a video contest on the theme “Earth is our unique home”. The purpose of this event is to attract the attention of general public, especially young people, to the issues of sustainable management and rational use of land resources , topical issues related to land protection and land protection reforms.

Competitions are also held to select talented and educated youth. According to the nominations of the competition, 56 students took part in a photo exhibition on the topic "Our land is our future", 30 students - in the intellectual game "Earth - national wealth", 41 students - in a video film on the topic "Earth is our unique home".

     The ceremony of awarding the students, who won in the mentioned  competition alsoparticipated. Winners of  1st, 2nd and 3rd places in 3 nominations were awarded money rewordings and  prizes from organizations and enterprises.
