In April 2024, on the initiative of the teaching staff of “Agricultural Mechanization” Faculty of our university, in cooperation with Lanzhou University of the People's Republic of China, began operating a climate change research laboratory, equipped with modern measuring instruments. In June 2024, laboratory equipment for monitoring atmospheric and climate changes was installed and put into operation at Bukhara Institute of Natural Resources Management. A delegation from Lanzhou University, which arrived in Uzbekistan in early July, visited our university and laboratory, the agreement was reached on further expansion of cooperation in educational and scientific areas. During the visit, employees of our university will get acquainted with the scientific work, carried out at Lanzhou University in the field of climate change research, will gain experience working with modern equipment, analyze data obtained in a jointly created laboratory and prepare articles. Along with this, issues of implementing joint educational programs in the future, establishing the exchange of researchers, master  and bachelor students will be discussed.

    At present time, the Head of the “Tractors and Automobiles”Department Prof.Mansur Amonov, doctoral student of “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” Department Nozimjon Teshaev are at  Lanzhou University for an internship and exchange of experience and the Head of the educational laboratory of “Tractors and Automobiles”Department  Zukhriddin Abdurasulov is to study at Summer School.
