On April 10, 2022, professors and doctoral students of the Department of Theory and Structural Mechanics of the  "TIQXMMI" National Research University visited the Pskom underground dam under construction on the Pskom River to get acquainted with the construction process.

They got acquainted with the upper part of the dam where rocky soils were spread and the process of compaction using a vibrating roller. The physical and mechanical properties of the paved and compacted soil were determined in the field with the laboratory staff of JSC "Hydroproject".

The technology of laying SIBELON CNT 3750 geotextile material imported from Italy was introduced in the upper part of the underground dam. This technology is innovative because it is used for the first time in Uzbekistan.
