According to the schedule approved by the rector of NRU "TIIAME" dated February 21, 2023, a spiritual and educational event was organized around the statue of the People's Poet of Uzbekistan Abdulla Oripov in the Alley of Writers. Members of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan Ma'mura Zhidova, Muhiddin Abdusamat, Muhammadsidiq Rahmatov, associate professor of the department of physics and chemistry of our university, Akhmedov Abdumirkhakim Mirkhalilovich, deputy dean for youth work at the "Hydromelioration" faculty, B.Toychiyev, faculty tutors and 80 students attended the event.

The Hero of Uzbekistan Ibrahim Gafurov told the participants of the meeting about the contribution of the national poet Abdulla Oripov to Uzbek literature, his patriotism, nobility, kindness, and the poet's poetry collections. Then Ma'mura Zohidova, a member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, took the floor and read the poems of Abdulla Oripov to the participants. Akhmedov Abdumirkhakim Mirkhalilovich, associate professor of the "Physics and Chemistry" department, made the event more meaningful by performing one of the poems written by the poet. Several students recited poems to the participants of the event.
