On October 17, 2022, by the special invitation of the Director of British Council, Denise Waddingham, the representatives of our university took part in the  international event at the Residence of the British Ambassador. The rector of our university prof. Mirzaev Bakhodir Suyunovich and the rectors of a number of international and national higher educational institutions, national and international  international experts paricipated. The event was attended by scientists from prestigious universities of the UK. The purpose of the meeting was to create a basis for further improvement of the education system in bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UK, as well as for the development of long-term plans in relating science, research and higher education. It is known to everyone, the British Council periodically organizes such prestigious international events and supports higher education institutions of Uzbekistan in further strengthening  partnership.

   During the event, the issues of sending the teaching staff of universities of Uzbekistan for monthly and two-week courses to a number of higher educational institutions of Great Britain, organizing summer courses for students, expanding opportunities not only for teachers of foreign languages, but also for teachers of various technical disciplines.
