At the meeting by guests there was provided information about the place and potential of our university in Elsevier network of scientific journals. According to the information given by the Director for Turkey and Central Asia, it was noted that scientific articles published by scientists of “TIIAME” National Research University in the collection of Elsevier journals are above the world average. H-index of papers published by university scientists averages 6.5 and they have been specifically recognized as leaders in the fields of earth and planetary sciences, environmental sciences, energy and engineering.

During the meeting there was suggested that the average index of published articles in the above areas reached 4.0, which is a great success. It was also recognized that university  scientists published an average of 27% of their articles in collaboration with foreign scientists and 10% of their articles were published in journals with the highest impact factor. There was also emphasized that it makes the greatest contribution to areas such as water supply, sanitation and clean energy.
