The earth is a national treasure, and it is the peoples' duty to preserve it. In connection with World Earth Day, on April 16-23, 2022 , there  was held a conference at "TIIAME" National Research University on the topic “Innovative approaches, prospects and challenges for land management in Uzbekistan”,  where practical seminars, various competitions, and exhibitions among talented students also took part. The Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Professor T.Z.Sultanov opened the event with an introductory speech. The event was organized by our university jointly with the Cadastral Agency under the State Tax Committee and the International Institute of Water Resources Management.

This event is held annually at our university on April 16-22 under the motto "Our land is our future". It was also attended by students of twobranches of "TIIAME" National Research University,  Bukhara Institute of Natural Resources Management, and  Karshi Institute of Irrigation and Agrotechnology.

  The purpose of this event is to attract the attention of the general public, especially young people, to the issues of sustainable management and rational use of land resources, topical issues related to land protection, and reforms. The winners of the competition will be awarded with cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in 3 categories, as well as prizes from organizations and enterprises. The award ceremony will be held on April 22.
